2014 Emmys: Best and worst dressed

The 66th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were held on Monday night (August 24, 2014) at NOKIA Theatre in LA. This is the first time the ceremony wasn’t held on Sunday Night.

I couldn’t wait to see all the gowns on the red carpet. There were no big surprises, trashy dresses or people craving attention and I loved it.

The red carpet at this year’s Emmys was dominated by red, nude and white gowns.

Sofia Vergara was simply stunning – as usual. Absolutely love her and love everything she wears. She’s one of those women who pull off the sexy, but not trashy look.

Game of Thrones actresses Lena Heady and Natalie Dormer were both stunning and loved that dresses.

Allison Williams was amazing. The dress was cute, elegant, sophisticated, and I loved the colors.

Sarah Hyland who appeared in awful dress at VMAs, was cute and elegant last night.

When it comes to worst-dressed celebrities, there was no doubt about that – Lena Dunham. Have no idea why would she put on that awful dress or what is should represent. Mayim Bialik wore a blue gown that only managed to age her. And that’s never a good thing.

Kerry Washington wore unflattering dress – and that was one of my biggest surprises about Emmys. She’s one of the most stylish actresses today and expected more from her. Kerry Washington can do it better, that’s for sure.

Laverne Cox wore a white gown but something was just off about it, while Kate Mara’s dress was just messy. Too many things going on, just not right.

All in all, it was a good night for Emmys, lots of great gowns. Wasn’t easy to divide them on best and worst.

However, need to express my disappointment for Game of Thrones not winning anything. Not fair.
