Vanity Fair’s 2014 International Best-Dressed List
A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY
The International Best-Dressed List was founded by fashionista Eleanor Lambert in 1940 to boost the reputation of American fashion.
The List is revealed in Vanity Fair for the last decade. It contains the most polished, stylish dressers from all parts of public life (politicians, royalty, designers, singers, athletes, businessmen).
Those who appear multiple times on the list are considered to be entered in the Hall of Fame.
For this occasion, marking a full decade of publishing the International Best-Dressed list, Vanity Fair has created a website where voters can see who was on the list for the past ten years.
2014 INTERNATIONAL BEST-DRESSED LIST
It’s divided in 6 categories: women, men, couples, originals, professionals, and editors’ picks. Cate Blanchett, Lupita Nyong’o, Benedict Cumberbatch, Pharrell, Karlie Kloss. Kate Middleton, Karl Lagerfeld are just some of numerous celebrities/public figures who made it to one of the most popular best-dressed lists.
